Whether you have a dog of your own, or just want to meet some new furry friends, this one’s for you.

Sydney’s greatest dog-dedicated festival is returning for another year at an all new location. The sixth Dog Lovers Show will be 30 per cent bigger than past years now that it's relocated to a new home at Sydney Showground. Expect pampered pooches, competitive canines, puppy parades and a whole lot more dog-devoted events.

This year’s location revamp comes with new furry features, including more celebrities, hundreds of pooch products and the opportunity to cuddle up with more than 800 dogs from 150 breeds. And if you're used to shopping for your dog more than for yourself, make the most of the thousands of products on display. Expect matching outfits, grooming stations, treats and toys.

In more firsts, there’s a canine “ninja” challenge, where competing canines go paw-to-paw through a custom-built obstacle course. BYO raincoat for the splash section, where dogs of all shapes and sizes will jump off a dock into a pool. And if your pup is particularly excitable there’s a “doga” demonstration, where attendees can get into a downward dog with their best friend.

Some of the celebrities appearing this year include Dr Harry Cooper, known for his segment on Better Homes and Gardens, and The Bondi Vet’s Lisa Chimes.

For those canine enthusiasts still on the search for their best friend, the show has partnered with more than 40 rescue shelters, which are bringing dozens of pups to meet-and-greet their future families.
