The fourth Shenkin cafe (and the first outside the inner west) shares the trademark home-style Israeli food, well-made coffee and warmth from the owners – brothers Din and Bar Haikin and their father, Arie.

The dishes that define Shenkin reappear here – shakshouka; sabih with smoky eggplant and boiled egg; falafel with a thick, crunchy outer layer; and smooth, rich hummus. All the recipes consider the Australian and Israeli palate and try to combine them.
