An annual festival of all things handmade, with more than 100 events across 45 suburbs.
Celebrating makers from all over the city, Sydney Craft Week returns for its second year this October.
The Australian Design Centre initiative is themed “mindful making” in 2018 and will focus on the benefits of working with your hands for connection, relaxation and, of course, creativity. It will also consider the sustainability and environmental impact of craft materials.
The 10-day festival will include markets, workshops and exhibitions, run by makers of many disciplines, from mathematical paper folding, to ceramics, to textiles and more.
