Pop-Up Spritz Bar at Bopp & Tone

The mid-town restaurant and bar is celebrating its first birthday with a pop-up spritz bar.

The terrace that wraps around Wynyard’s Bopp & Tone has seen a lot of action in the year since the restaurant and bar first opened last November – on last count, the number of spritzes served there clocked in at more than 2000.

To celebrate its first birthday, Bopp & Tone will be serving a new summer cocktail menu from Lillet, on the terrace. On offer are three fruity and herbal cocktails: the classic Lillet Spritz (a blend of strawberry, cucumber and mint mixed with the fruity, Bordeaux-born aperitif and topped with tonic), the Rouge and Soda (Lillet Rouge, lemon peel, soda), and Ginger Rose (Lillet Rosé, lemon myrtle, PS Soda Ginger Beer). These cocktails are $16 each, except for during happy hour (weekdays from 4 to 6pm) when they will be $14.

Elsewhere on Carrington Street, Bopp’s Deli is sorting catering for office lunches, Christmas dinner parties and weekend picnics as it pops up at Table Sixty Espresso. You can pre-order order online the day before to collect a charcuterie or antipasti box to share or snack on. There will also be a limited selection available daily for those last minute requests.

Whether collecting a Bopp’s Deli hamper or stopping in for a spritz, you’ll hear the sounds of live music streaming out from the Bopp & Tone terrace every Wednesday afternoon in the lead up the Christmas.
