Milton Food and Wine Festival
During the summer bushfires, the regions surrounding the small South Coast town of Milton were hard-hit. Milton was slated to host its first ever food and wine festival in May 2020 to help local businesses (which include some of the country’s top restaurants and wineries) get back on their feet, but due to floods and Covid-19, the festival has been postponed to March 2021.
But it looks as though it’ll be worth the wait: topnotch local businesses such as Bannisters Mollymook, Stoic Brewery, South Coast Distillery, Dangerous Ales, Something’s Brewing, Corang Estate and Coolangatta Estate are already on board. Plus, the festival will be going single-use-plastic free.
Along with stellar food and drink, there’ll be live music from local and out-of-town musos, a demo from the Milton Rural Fire Service, amusement rides and a circus playground.
Further food and beverage suppliers will be announced in the coming months.
