The acclaimed chef is taking over the kitchen at the waterfront restaurant for one night only.

When Sydney chef Mark Best closed his Surry Hills restaurant Marque in 2016, it was a loss to the local dining scene. The fine diner received many of Australia’s highest accolades over the years, including Gourmet Traveller’s Restaurant of the Year award.

Since closing the restaurant, Best has been busy – including a stint on high-pressure Netflix cooking competition The Final Table. And now he’s getting back behind the pans for one night only, cooking a special dinner at Woolloomooloo’s waterfront eatery Manta featuring top local produce, such as Magra lamb and seafood from Port Stephens.

The dinner kicks off at 6.30pm and costs $150 for four courses, not including drinks.
