Halloween Party at the Australian Museum

Want to celebrate Halloween with live tarantulas and flesh-eating bugs?

The Australian Museum is delivering its wildest Jurassic Lounge party yet. Experience an augmented reality cave with more than 400 live spiders and a drumming circle aimed at waking the dead; eat crickets, ants and meal worms as you learn about sustainable insect farming; or watch flesh-eating beetles devour a dolphin skull.

You can also plan your own funeral or dance the night away to the Ghostbusters theme tune.

Entry includes full access to all exhibitions and galleries as well as four pop-up bars, live art and a best-costume competition.

Tickets are $20 available from the Australian Museum. 6.30pm-9.30pm.
