A Fruit/Flea Market at Abstract Thoughts Gallery
You can shop heaps of great Sydney makers, homeware brands and food products online – but it’s always better when you can see and feel the real thing. And for one day, some of the city’s top labels are coming together under one roof.
They’re taking over Abstract Thoughts Gallery – run by the people behind Cafe Freda’s next door – for a pop-up market curated by designer Madeleine Hoy of Nonna’s Grocer.
Expect to find some of her fruit-shaped candles (including from the latest collection), alongside stone, marble and terrazzo pieces from Offcut; oyster-shaped incense holders, incense sticks, coasters and table linen by Corey Ashford; local condiments and gift boxes stocked by Condimental; personal lubricant by Figr; pure rice sake imported from Japan by Sake Sake; fresh flowers styled by florist and plant book author Sophia Kaplan; and more, including jewellery, ceramics and handmade rugs.
From 3pm to 8pm both days.
