The newly opened Nakano Darling is inspired by the izakayas (casual, tavern-style venues) in Tokyo’s Asakusa district. And it’s one of Sydney’s best new Japanese joints.
Like the venues it draws inspiration from, one of Nakano's specialties is karaage (battered and deep-fried chicken). And on weekdays, you can get a serve for free whenever you buy a tap beer. On pour are Orion ($10), and Asahi Super Dry, Asahi Black and Suntory Premium Malt ($12). Godspeed.
From 5pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday, and 4pm to 6pm Friday.
