Head chef of Astrid y Gastón, Lima Peru, (recently voted numer-14 Best Restaurant in the World), Diego Muñoz will be hosting two events in Sydney as part of the Think.Eat.Save campaign in Sydney. It's an annual event to raise awareness about global food loss and waste reduction.
On Sunday August 2 Muñoz will cook at Rockpool with Neil Perry and head chef Phil Wood at a special one-off event. All proceeds will go to OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food-rescue organisation. The dinner on Sunday, supported by the Rockpool Foundation, will feature a stunning six-course menu with matching wines.
Muñoz will also take over the kitchen for one night only at Harvested, OzHarvest’s highly successful pop-up restaurant at Pyrmont on Wednesday July 29 and cook a Peruvian-themed dinner inspired by zero waste.
