Ikea’s first 24-hour digital festival is a tour of homes around the world, with visitors able to hop in and out of 10 different rooms at any given time.
Well-known designers, musicians, chefs, entrepreneurs and media personalities from more than 50 countries are opening their doors for talks, concerts, DJ relays and cook-along demos. They include Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton menswear artistic director Virgl Abloh; Danish singer-songwriter MØ; DJ Kaytranada; American chef-restaurateur Flynn McGarry, and interior and furniture designer Ilse Crawford, among others.
There are also neighbourhood tours followed by performances, a peek into the Ikea Museum, home makeover ideas, tag-along shopping sprees and more.
The festival kicks off at 4pm AEST on Thursday September 16.
