Junip

Swedish band Junip may have been around for over 10 years, but it was only this year they finally got around to releasing their debut album Fields. A few things got in the way over the years, most notable frontman Jose González's impossible to miss solo work. Once González was done with touring duties, they finally recorded the album of their dreams, creating a lush, eclectic sound always pinned down with their most famous member's quiet but commanding voice. In Australia for the first time to play Falls, Southbound and Sunset Sounds, they stop by in Melbourne for just one show.
