Espresso Yourself Festival

Food truck park-slash-beer garden The Ascot Lot is toasting Espresso Martinis with a mini-festival. Espresso Yourself is a one-day affair celebrating the cocktail and introducing the venue’s new spins on the drink.

From midday, all five Espresso Martini flavours are $10 each, with a special “Espresso Yourself Pass” that lets you have them all for just $40. Otherwise, entry is free.

In addition to the traditional Kahlua-espresso-vodka combo, new concoctions include the Bounty Hunter (coconut and chocolate) and the Mint Like You (mint, chocolate and a peppermint crisp).

Food on the day will be by different food trucks, and DJ Lloyd Jones will provide beats to sip your Martinis to. Dogs are, as always, welcome at the Lot.

Don’t worry if you miss out. All five flavours will still be $10 each at the Lot after the festival.
