Melbourne Dog Lovers Show 2022
The Dog Lovers Show returns for its eighth celebration of man’s best friend, and it’s going to be a paw-esome time (we’re so sorry about the pun). More than 800 dogs from 100 breeds will join the festival fun times, across three days.
TV vet Dr Katrina Warren and trainer Kelly Gill will appear at the Vitapet Arena, alongside The Wonderdogs performing tricks and stunts. Pups will also complete obstacle courses, compete in speed-retrieval comps in a 100,000-litre swimming pool and gain altitude in high-jumping matches.
Punters can pat dogs of all breeds and sizes, and even meet a range of pups up for adoption. There’ll be educational talks, tips from groomers, and advice on the best dog to match your lifestyle. Plus, free face painting for kids, take a snap at the glitter selfie wall and watch shop for dog-friendly clothing, accommodation, beds, food, kennels and more.
From 9.30am to 5pm.
