Dingo Ate My Taco at The Mill Brewery
Birria – the Tiktok-famous, crunchy, gooey, consommé-dipped beef quesadilla that’s more Tex-Mex than traditional – has taken off in Australia, and one of the Melbourne eateries that paved the way for its meteoric rise isn’t even a restaurant: it’s a food truck.
Dingo Ate My Taco opened at the height of Melbourne’s lockdown and oscillates between three locations each week. For four straight weekends it’s taking over the kitchen at Collingwood’s The Mill Brewery.
Order its central Texas-style barbeque tacos – and, of course, the cult birria quesataco – then wash it down with freshly brewed beer and seltzers, with views of the brewing equipment that made them. Online ordering is also available for pick-up through Mr Yum.
