Margaret River Guesthouse
Bed and breakfasts have somewhat of a reputation for being old-fashioned, chintzy and, well, a little uncool. Not so at the Margaret River Guesthouse. This charming guesthouse is proof that the good old-fashioned B ‘n’ B isn’t going anywhere – no “Air” prefixes needed.
Booking a room here gets you more than a good night’s sleep. You’ll get a cooked-to-order breakfast (and an afternoon tea of baked treats) and free reign of the beautiful gardens. But, possibly best of all, Margaret River Guesthouse is a few hundred meters from the centre of town, so you’ll be close to local shops and restaurants. It’s also the perfect place to base yourself out off for tours to wineries and restaurants farther afield.
Rooms are attractively priced, and are comfortable and well appointed. It’s all set within a historical building that used to serve as the convent for the Margaret River settlement back in the 1920s.
