At the end of 2017, Graceland Farm was home to a ramshackle farmhouse and little else. Today, the 120-acre patch of low-lying grassland is home to Rosalita’s Rest, comprising two well-appointed boutique cabins and a biodynamic farm and a kinesiology clinic that’s open to guests.

Surrounded by lush hillside, each cabin is decorated with vintage furniture and features a queen-sized bed, indoor shower, edible garden and outdoor clawfoot bathtub overlooking the property’s tranquil lily pond. One cabin is slightly larger, with a second bedroom and double bed.

The cabins were designed by co-owner Vince Hunt, whose permaculture background informs the property’s “regenerative travel” ethos. Guests are invited to plant herbs, vegetables and even trees during their stay. Hunt co-owns the property with partner Angela Bricknell, who offers kinesiology, a movement-based alternative therapy, to guests from her neighbouring clinic on a quiet corner of the farm.
