One in five children experience violence before they reach the age of 18. It's a shocking statistic, and national burger chain Grill'd has decided to do something about it.
In partnership with not-for-profit organisation YGAP and its Polished Man initiative, Grill'd is giving away free burgers for seven days in October to support the end of violence against children.
"Last year we helped the organisation raise $1 million with the help of over 62,000 Polished Men," Grill'd managing director Simon Crowe said in a news release. "This year we hope to help them raise even more funds to support trauma recovery and prevention programs for children who have suffered or are at risk of suffering violence.”
